Cancellation and refunds
Short version: subscriptions can be cancelled any time and run to the end of the paid period, and a dossier can be refunded until it has been generated.

Subscriptions
Alerts and Pro can be cancelled at any moment from your account. Access continues to the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing renews after that.
If you cancel within 14 days of a payment and have not made substantial use of the period, write to billing@themachinerecord.com and we refund the unused part pro rata.
Company dossiers
A dossier is a digital product generated on demand. It can be refunded in full any time before generation begins.
Once the document has been generated and delivered, it is not refundable, because it cannot be returned. If the delivered file is broken, incomplete or does not match the company ordered, we regenerate it or refund it in full, at your choice.
How to ask
Write to billing@themachinerecord.com from the email used for the purchase. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within five working days, subject to your bank.
