An occupied Zoox autonomous vehicle was traveling west on [XXX] toward [XXX] in Austin when it braked to a stop for a pedestrian and dog on a leash entering the crosswalk. A passenger car (Vehicle 2) traveling directly behind failed to slow down and rear ended the stopped Zoox vehicle. Shortly after, the Vehicle 2 driver reversed, inspected both vehicles, then returned to their vehicle and remained at the scene. The Zoox vehicle passenger reported feeling "dazed" and "kind of woozy" and requested emergency services. The police were notified and arrived at the scene. The Zoox fleet response team also arrived, and information was exchanged with the other party. Just as the Zoox vehicle started moving, an audible noise came from its fender, so it pulled over and was towed for further inspection. The vehicle was found to have sustained moderate damage to its rear end.
On July [XXX], 2026 at 11:24 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was involved in a collision in Austin, TX at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling eastbound in the far left lane on [XXX] in autonomous mode as it approached the intersection with [XXX]. The traffic signal was green for the AVRIDE AV. As the AVRIDE AV entered the intersection, a scooter entered the crosswalk from the left against the pedestrian signal. This maneuver resulted in the front of the scooter making contact with the left side of the AVRIDE AV. Neither vehicle sustained damage. No tow was required, and no airbags were deployed. Minor injuries without hospitalization required were reported by the scooter operator.

The AVRIDE AV was traveling westbound on [XXX] in autonomous mode while following a left-hand curve in the roadway. As the AVRIDE AV proceeded forward, a cyclist operating an e-bike approached from behind on the left while traveling in the wrong direction on the two-way roadway. As the cyclist continued through the left-hand curve, the cyclist lost control and slid to the right, causing the right side of the e-bike to make contact with the left side of the AVRIDE AV.
