On September [XXX], 2026 at 8:39 PM CDT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Houston, Texas was in a collision involving a barrier wall on Interstate [XXX] at the [XXX] exit [XXX] offramp. The Waymo AV was traveling southeastbound in autonomous mode, in the rightmost offramp lane on Interstate [XXX] at the [XXX], when an SUV traveling southeastbound in the third lane from the left on Interstate [XXX] changed lanes, entering the leftmost lane of the three offramp lanes at exit [XXX]. At the same time, a passenger car traveling southeastbound in the center of the three offramp lanes, changed lanes to the leftmost lane, and the right side of the SUV made contact with the left side of the passenger car. The passenger car was pushed southbound and spun clockwise across the center offramp lane and entered the rightmost lane, the Waymo AV's lane of travel. The Waymo AV slowed and maneuvered to the right to yield to the passenger car, and the test driver transitioned the Waymo AV into manual mode. The test driver continued to brake and maneuver the Waymo AV to the right towards the south barrier wall, and the front right side of the Waymo AV made contact with the south barrier wall. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was not engaged in autonomous mode, and a test driver was operating the Waymo AV in manual mode. The passenger car sustained damage. The driver of the Waymo AV was transported from the scene to a hospital for medical treatment with alleged minor injuries. As the Waymo AV entered the parking lot, the Waymo AV drove over a raised section of pavement, and the undercarriage of the Waymo AV made contact with the raised section of pavement. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. The Waymo AV sustained damage. On July [XXX], 2026 at approximately 140pm CT in Houston, TX, a Nuro Prius in manual mode was rear-ended at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. Prior to the incident, the Nuro Prius was in auto waiting at a red light. The Nuro Prius proceeded on green through intersection before braking and slowing down, which led the operator to disengage. After disengaging, the operator did not accelerate appropriately, and the vehicle was struck from behind before it cleared the intersection in manual mode. No injuries were reported with the Nuro Prius sustaining minor damage. Air bags were not deployed and law enforcement was not involved.

Summary: The ADS slowed to a stop in Lane #3, the right-turn-only lane of a three-lane street at an intersection faced with red circular traffic lights. Vehicles in the adjacent lanes were stopped. The ADS then crept forward toward the intersection and slowed to a stop as a crossing SUV came into view from the perpendicular left. While stopped for cross traffic, the ADS was rear-ended by an SUV. The ADS had no passengers present in the vehicle.

As the Waymo AV exited the intersection, it began slowing to yield for an SUV traveling at a low rate of speed northbound on [XXX] near the center of the roadway with its hazard lights activated. The Waymo AV maneuvered to the right and slowed to a stop and the SUV slowed to a stop. The SUV then proceeded forward and to the left towards the Waymo AV, and the front left side of the SUV made contact with the front left side of the stationary Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. The Waymo AV sustained damage. The Waymo AV was traveling northeastbound in the second from the right lane on [XXX] when the Waymo AV began to slow, activated its left turn signal, and initiated a lane change to the adjacent left lane in front of a heavy truck traveling at a low rate of speed. The Waymo AV began to cross the solid white lane line and the heavy truck proceeded forward, and the front right side of the heavy truck made contact with the rear left side of the Waymo AV. The test driver of the Waymo AV then transitioned to manual mode immediately after contact occurred. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode, and a test driver was present (in the driver's seating position). The Waymo AV sustained damage. The SUV continued to change lanes to the right and entered the Waymo AV's lane of travel, and the front right side of the SUV made contact with the left side of the Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. Both vehicles sustained damage. Prior to disengaging autonomy, the Nuro vehicle came to a complete at a stop sign at an unprotected crossing of a one-way road with four lanes. The traffic in the cross street was stopped or inching forward slowly due to heavy traffic, leaving the intersection partially blocked by gridlock. The operator disengaged autonomy and and proceeded to drive manually through the partially blocked crossing. While the operator was navigating through a gap in the stopped vehicles, the Nuro vehicle was struck from the left side by one of the vehicles on the cross street. The collision occurred at a very low speed, and resulted in minor property damage to the vehicles but no injures.

On January [XXX], 2026 at 10:18 PM CT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Houston, Texas was in a collision involving a passenger car on [XXX] at [XXX]. The Waymo AV was traveling westbound on [XXX] when it began to slow for a yellow light at the intersection with [XXX]. As the light turned red and the Waymo AV continued slowing, a passenger car traveling westbound on [XXX] approached the Waymo AV from behind and the front of the passenger car made contact with the rear of the Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. Both vehicles sustained damage. On August [XXX], 2025, one of Nuro's Prius vehicles operating in manual mode in the Houston area was struck from behind while yielding to cross-traffic at an intersection. The vehicle had been operating in autonomous mode within 30 seconds prior to the incident, but the operator had disengaged autonomy several seconds prior to reaching the intersection. No injuries resulted from this incident, although there was minor property damage to both vehicles.

On August [XXX], 2025 at 11:16 AM CT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Houston, Texas was in a collision involving a roadside curb on [XXX] at [XXX]. The Waymo AV was traveling westbound on [XXX] when a passenger car that was traveling northbound on [XXX] made a left turn onto westbound [XXX] into the Waymo AV's lane of travel. As the passenger car approached the left of the Waymo AV, the test driver transitioned to manual mode and manually maneuvered the Waymo AV to the right, and the front right and rear right tires of the Waymo AV made contact with the curb.
